Will be responsible for a significant portion of financial reporting. Review data for accuracy prior to publication to executive management.
- Compiles financial reports and operational reports to support company-wide financial and operational goals, initiatives and objectives
- Completes operational and financial analysis on various initiation and revenue items as requested by management
- Problems and issues are thoroughly researched.
- An executive narrative and quantitative summary is prepared.
- Recommendations are made to improve or resolve problems as necessary.
- Assist in preparation of annual business planning process and monthly forecasting
- Help implement and create reporting in the new financial system
- Completes financial analysis on specific expense line items as requested by management.
- Recommend ways to improve the financial reporting activities of the company to get the month end results to key individuals on a timelier basis.
Required Skills
Licenses/Certifications/Specialized Training: Intermediate level SQL and MS Excel required. Requires excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office suite - Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft AX a plus. Excellent written and verbal communications. Knowledge of accounting theories and creative problem solving skills are necessary.
Required Experience
Experience: 2 years of financial analysis experience. Accounting experience a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent relevant experience.
