Financial Reporter

Will be responsible for a significant portion of financial reporting.  Review data for accuracy prior to publication to executive management. 

• Compiles financial reports and operational reports to support company-wide financial and operational goals, initiatives and objectives
• Completes operational and financial analysis on various initiation and revenue items as requested by management
  • Problems and issues are thoroughly researched.
  • An executive narrative and quantitative summary is prepared.
  • Recommendations are made to improve or resolve problems as necessary.
• Assist in preparation of annual business planning process and monthly forecasting
• Help implement and create reporting in the new financial system
• Completes financial analysis on specific expense line items as requested by management.
• Recommend ways to improve the financial reporting activities of the company to get the month end results to key individuals on a timelier basis.

Licenses/Certifications/Specialized Training:  Intermediate level SQL and MS Excel required.  Requires excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office suite - Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.  Experience with Microsoft AX a plus.  Excellent written and verbal communications.  Knowledge of accounting theories and creative problem solving skills are necessary. 

Experience: 2 years of financial analysis experience.  Accounting experience a plus.  

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent relevant experience.
